Whether you're curious about Christianity or looking to deepen your faith - all are welcome at Gateway Presbyterian Port Stephens

Here are three ways of exploring Christianity more:

SUNDAY SERVICES - Each Sunday, we gather to hear the Bible taught clearly, reflecting on who God is and what that means for our lives. Through preaching and singing, we encourage one another to trust in God’s grace and rest in His promises.

READING THE BIBLE - Throughout the week, small groups meet to read the Bible together, pray, and share life. It’s a chance to refocus on God, engage with the Bible, and see how God’s Word should transform our lives.

FAITH COURSES - If you’re looking to dig deeper into questions about God, the Bible, and what it all means for life, we offer courses designed to help. These sessions provide the time and space for honest discussion and questions, and genuine wrestling with God and his Word alongside others on a similar journey.

Wherever you're at, we'd love for you to join us—on Sundays, in a small group, or in a course—there’s a place for you here

Come and discover who Jesus is and why getting to know Him could change your life!

We meet together to praise and proclaim our creator and saviour, Jesus Christ.

Sunday Services
@ 8:30am & 10:30am

Combined School Holiday Services
@ 9.30am

In our services we speak to God in prayer, sing songs of worship and hear the Bible read and explained.

Our kids engage with Creche, Kid's Church and Link Discipleship, and then we spend time together catching up over a cup of coffee.

Come! Be encouraged, challenged and refreshed by meeting together and sharing the joy that is found in Jesus Christ.

Sunday Services

We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power.
–  Colossians 1:9-11

Faith Courses

New To Faith

Have you considered the meaning of life and the claims made by Jesus in the Bible?

Jesus is the most significant figure in all history! And if the claims made about him are true, it will have a massive impact on our lives today… and for eternity.

Alpha will run on Wednesday evenings during Term Three of each year.

Christianity Explained + The Reason For God run when needed.

It’s an open course where you will learn about life, God and faith. Alpha is a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. Everyone's welcome. No matter your background or beliefs, you're invited.

Baptism Course

From time to time during the year and possibly after the running of the Alpha Course or the Christianity Explained courses, people may decide that they want to be baptised. If that’s you….then make an appointment with Ross to attend a Baptism course. In previous years we have met on the beach in September and had a Baptism service on the beach.

Baptism is a clear and open display that Jesus is your Lord. It’s also an opportunity to baptise children as a sign of what God has promised to all who believe - new life!

Belonging Course

Everyone is welcome to attend our services and be involved in the life of the Church. You may even decide that you want to take the next step of being a part of this community, and that involves doing the Belonging Course, where we explore why we should belong to a church, how you can be involved, and what it means to be Presbyterian here in Port Stephens.

Membership

Presbyterians value membership as a commitment to Christ and His church, fostering accountability and active participation in the faith community. In the Presbyterian Church of NSW (PCNSW), members promise to trust in Jesus as their Savior, live in obedience to God’s Word, and support the church's work. Membership offers a meaningful connection to a shared mission, spiritual growth, and a supportive faith family.
