HSC STUDY DAYS

In the last week of the July School holidays, on the Thursday and Friday we provide a quiet place in the Church auditorium to study for the HSC trial examinations.

It starts at 8.30 am and finishes about 4.30 pm

Students are free to come and go as they wish e.g morning or afternoon or stay for the whole day. Students are helped by available HSC teachers from our congregation and we provide lunch, morning and afternoon teas. It’s free.

For those with good memories, the HSC is a reminder of times spent with fellow students working towards those final HSC Examinations in October and for those students who want to do well, it has challenges and anxious preparation.

As a church we want to support our Local Year 12 students at a difficult time of their lives.

At one of the lunch meals, we invite a speaker from the Newcastle Christian group to come and speak and to tell students of the excitement of University life and the challenges.

We send an invitation to all HSC students at our local High Schools which include Tomaree, Medowie Christian College and St. Philip’s but students from other schools all are welcome!!

Please invite any HSC students you know to register and come along.

We also repeat the two HSC Study days in the last week of the September School Holidays.

Please see Ewen Williamson for more details
